Established at the end of the 19th Century, the vineyards of Fatalone still sit on the picturesque Spinomarino Hill, Puglia (the heel of Italy's boot). The family motto reads, “Who loves and respects Nature, loves God and himself” which tells you everything you need to know about this producer. Proudly both fully organic and biodynamic, their Primitivo Gioia del Colle Riserva 2020 is a truly authentic taste of southern Italy. Powerful aromas of ripe black cherry, plum and baking spices are present on the nose, leading to a velvety texture and beautiful flavours of bitter almond and juicy blackberry on the palate. An awesome wine to pair with mature cheeses or red meats.
